The most important function of a Board of Education is to hire a Superintendent. IELC is committed to assisting Boards of Education with finding the highest quality candidates to choose from when selecting its next Superintendent. IELC is not a private Superintendent search firm rather we are a comprehensive leadership consulting organization. We will collaborate closely with Board members throughout the Superintendent hiring process, from marketing, screening, assisting with interviews, and checking references. Consultation may include working not only with the School Board but with internal and external district and community stakeholders.
IELC services include assisting school districts with hiring a variety of district and building leadership positions.
IELC services also include hiring short-term or interim positions for district and school leadership positions. Another key component of our services is to assist school districts with developing leadership succession plans.
Coaching and mentoring services are offered by IELC for district and school leadership positions, such as Superintendents, Cabinet/Central Office leaders, as well as for Principal and Assistant Principal positions.
IELC services can provide a school district with best practices and continuous improvement processes that will ensure an excellent Human Resources and/or Personnel Department.
